The market is a traditional winter market that draws thousands of people every year.
For this year’s event, the market is expanding its offerings.
Chennai’s Chinatown Market is expanding and now offers a full menu of cold and sweet dishes, from fish-on-the-bone sandwiches to pork chops.
For the first time, the store will also have an indoor indoor market, featuring a full selection of fresh produce, fresh meats and seafood.
The city has made a special effort to attract new businesses and locals by hosting events and programs.
“It’s been really exciting,” said Rachel O’Neil, executive director of the Chinatown Community Development Corporation.
“We’re getting to see the impact of our community development efforts on the local economy.”
