The best and worst of London’s black market
It’s been an interesting few days.
On the one hand, the police have said they’re cracking down on the illegal marketplaces in the capital, but on the other, a man who was arrested on Tuesday night for allegedly carrying a shotgun in a public place was released on bail, despite having allegedly been armed with a shotgun, according to a court document obtained by Next Big Futures.
According to the documents, a 23-year-old man was charged with unlawful possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life and possession of an unregistered firearm in a location where a firearm was prohibited under section 7 of the Firearms Act.
It’s unclear how the gun was found.
The incident is being investigated by the Metropolitan Police and the London Ambulance Service.
